I wanted to upload this earlier but internet at home has been spotty. We had a big nasty storm recently that did a lot of damage. Spotty internet is really not that bad. And now I'm uploading using wifi in my local mcdonalds. Hmmm cheeseburgers...
Seeing new pages of your comic always make me so happy! It's been a long while since I read the book, but I really loved it and it's so nice to see someone making a comic out of it. The expressions on the last couple of pages are incredible, I can't wait to see the rest!
I ended up eating there because they had hamburgers on sale for $0.49 each and I'm cheap. Great work on the expressions in this page and good luck with the aftermath of the storm. Well I'm off to trying to type up a 16 page paper in under a day with little to nothing to go off of.
You are excellent at portraying emotions through expression and body language - it's a joy to watch.
I'm also enjoying this little exercise in different worldviews - Atrus has that youthful, idealistic brand of placing the blame, while his grandma is more accepting of things as they are and what you can and cannot change. It's interesting to read. :)
@frostflowers: Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Body language/expressions - it's really what I love to play with.
The way you put the differences in Anna and Atrus worldviews is perfect. That's what I was going for :D
@Jevasi: oh god, 16 pages.... i HATE writing essays. DEATH. PURE DEATH. Good luck to you sir!
Mcdonalds is SO cheap. I forget that sometimes. nom nom nom
@Lorina: Thanks Lorina! Thanks for saying that! I'm glad you're enjoying it. I'll keep the pages coming! :D
