This is absolutely beautiful! You've managed to capture both the scenery and the characters perfectly in this drawings, and the direction of the panels is top notch! I like the small changes, like the traders' dialogue at the beginning and the scene with Atrus beginning to learn D'ni. All wonderful! I look forward to seeing more. Do you think you'll do the Book of Ti'ana after this one?

Wait, in "motivation for the project", it says you used photoshop to make these. Does that mean that this is the highest resolution of the pages, or did you just scan it and use photoshop to make the text?

@Ahlisendar: It's all photoshop from start to finish. What I post here is not the highest res. The originals are close to 8.5 x 11in and 300dpi.

I see. What do you use to draw it? Do you use a pen tablet, or a mouse, or what? It all looks very natural, I'm amazed that you can pull that off.

@Ahlisendar: Thanks! I use a tablet. And Photoshop. I use a single textured brush for the linework and painting the values. I'll probably do a step-by-step at some point.
